Ectiban 25 Fly Killer (Permethrin Premise Spray) - 473ml
Ectiban has been available for many years, used as a premise spray. Topically used for cattle for horn flies, face flies, black field, mosquitoes and ticks. Topically on sheep for keds, and poultry for northern fowl mites. Permethrin 240 g/L, group 3 insecticide.
Pyrethroid insecticide/emulsifiable concentrate for the control of Horn flies, Face flies, Black flies/mosquitoes, Lice, Rocky Mountain wood tick (beef cattle only).
For surface and topical spray applications. In livestock housing premises. On animals (beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle).
In back-rubber/self-treatment oilers (beef cattle only).
For indoor use only to provide residual control of horn flies, face flies, black flies, and stable flies in livestock housing such as poultry houses, stables, swine houses and milking parlours and holding rooms. Spray all inside building surfaces of the barn including walls, ceilings and, beams. DO NOT reapply this product for at least 14 days. Treatment must only be repeated after 14 days if pest problem persists or reoccurs. DO NOT exceed 12 applications per year. Livestock returned to treated areas cannot be slaughtered for a minimum of 7 days after the treatment was applied to the livestock facility. The use of any residual fly spray should be supplemented with proper sanitation including elimination of fly breeding sites.
Apply using the following methods:
Dilute Sprayer: Dilute 20 mL of ECTIBAN® 25 with 2.5 L of water. Apply diluted spray at a rate of 2.5L/100 m2 of structural surface.
Electric Mist Sprayer: Dilute 20 mL of ECTIBAN 25 with 75 mL diesel oil or water.
Apply diluted spray at a rate of 75 mL/100 m2 to be sprayed. Direct spray at surface from a distance of 2 to 2.4 m while spraying.
Do not apply the above spray mixes directly to animals or poultry. Follow directions below for direct application to livestock and poultry.
TOPICAL APPLICATIONS
(1) SPRAY APPLICATION
Pest: Horn Flies, Face Flies, Black Flies, Mosquitoes
Concentration: Mix 200 mL with 100 L water in a sprayer.
Maximum Rate: Apply 1 to 2 L of spray mix per animal.
Minimum Re-application Interval: 14 days for horn flies and face flies, 8 days for black flies and mosquitoes,
