Shipping Information


As temperatures fall, the risk of liquids and wormers freezing increases. When ordering please be aware that Pleasant Ridge Saddlery is not responsible for damages due to items freezing in transit. As a precaution, we will not be shipping liquids and wormers on Friday's. Orders will ship the following Monday.

  •  Order processing can take up to 3 business days (not including weekends or holidays) to be packaged and shipped out.  Items placed in shopping cart are not reserved. 
  • We aim to have 100% fill rates in our orders. If we are sold out of an item, we will ship your order without the item.  If an item is back ordered from our vendor, we will contact you via phone/email.  If we do not hear back from you, we will ship the balance of your order and the backordered items can be re-ordered at a later date. 
  • Orders on hold due to a declined credit card will only be held for seven days. If an alternate payment method is not provided in this timeline, the order will be cancelled. 
  • Orders that are placed on Saturday and Sunday will not get processed until the following business day.
  • We DO NOT accept Visa Debit or Mastercard Debit cards at this time. Please place online orders with either a Visa Credit Card or Mastercard Credit Card. 
  • Credit cards are NOT automatically charged from our website. Once all items are confirmed in stock, credit cards will be charged.
  • Ground delivery can range from 1 to 5 five business days to most locations in Canada once it leaves our shipping department (unless otherwise stated on the item.) Please note that this is not a guaranteed timeline.
  • Orders are not shipped on weekends. If you have a time-sensitive parcel please call our mail order department for further details. 

To ensure expedient delivery, we have teamed up with CANPAR and PUROLATOR  courier service.  Both companies deliver during the day, and as of this year Can-par does not require a signature for deliveries. These companies are unable to ship to PO Boxes or rural route numbers, we require a physical address (fire/house number and road name).

We strongly recommend that if no one is home during the day to accept a parcel, that you give us a business address, place of work, or friendly neighbours address to deliver your parcel.  If this is not possible, please leave a note on your door with instructions to where the delivery driver can leave the parcel.  Please print your name and sign the note.              

If you need your parcel to be shipped by Canada Post, we will need to quote you a price.  Freight rates below are for Canpar and Purolator deliveries only.

In extreme cases, we will contact you about high freight charges. With the high cost of fuel, all freight companies have passed huge price increases onto us. We are absorbing what we can, and we aim to keep our freight charges as low as possible. 

Online/Mail Order Return/Exchange Process

  • Please email our returns department at to receive your Return Authorization # (RA#).

  • Carefully pack your approved products (along with the Return/Exchange Form), CLEARLY MARK the RA# on the box, and address your package to our store. Important: All packages that are returned without an approved RA# on the box can and will be refused.

  • Please return items by Canada Post "ground mail" to our store. Sorry, we cannoaccept collect returns. Please note that refunds will not be given for purchased shipping boxes or envelopes.

  • Exchanges will be shipped back to you at your expense via courier.

  • All exchanges are subject to applicable shipping charges for the item amount.

  • Original shipping charges or fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Items returned in any sort of USED condition will NOT be eligible for a refund. Items must be returned in ORIGINAL condition with tags attached. If we receive an item in non-refundable condition, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs.

  • Refunds can only be processed with a receipt for full money back within 30 days of original purchase. Please refer to our Refund Guidelines for further detail.
