The stretch fabric offers a secure fit around the head preventing anything from entering the mask. Offering UV 98%+ Block, excluding mesh areas. Mask: 82% nylon 18% spandex. Mesh: 100% nylon.

While these masks do have a zipper, the zippers have a zipper guard, so it does not contact the horse. This allows you to leave the zipper done up and you can pull them off and on zipped up.
